• Foxing in negative space

Completed Treatment

• Dry cleaned Verso and Recto
• Deacidified in a %0.1 Calcium Hydroxide solution
• Washed in room temperature distilled water
• Whitened with a 1% Hydrogen Peroxide solution
• Sized in a 1% Carboxy Methyl Cellulose solution
• Wet Repairs were done at this point with toned Japanese paper and filler material
